If you're dying to see the Northern Lights, there's a way to find them that can overcome everyone else: from a glass igloo tucked in the snow at the Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort in Finland.
Although temperatures around these regions can be as tiny as-40F, the igloos are made from a distinctive heat glass that avoids frosting of the inside toasty and the glass.
About 200 days a year this far west you can see the Aurora Borealis. Glass igloos are available from August to April for watching this natural light display. The igloos for two people include a toilet and an additional room choice.
