Obvodny Canal is an important waterway between the port and the upper Neva that has a significant for the city’s culture as Nevsky Prospekt.
The canal currently serves as a conditional border of the southern industrial belt of the city. Many of the buildings along Obvodny Canal, civil and industrial constructions, bridges and support walls, are of considerable historic and architectural value.
The wide riverside iis a great palce fro a boat ride or ride along banks especially on the way to Sennaya square market. The best time to enjoy the views are during the night!
