Every corner of Pavlovsk Park and every inch of the palace interior were carefully crafted by the finest artists and designers of the day.
This park's was designed, by Charles Cameron and Vincenzo Brenna . Teh adesigenr took the full advantage of the rolling countryside around the Slavyanka River's valley to create delightful vistas of copses, gentle slopes, winding streams and the occasional classical folly.
A trip to Pavlovsk is a great opportunity to take a break from the city noise and breathe fresh air, to stroll in the beautiful park and appreciate gorgeous alleys and splendid 19th century buildings.
It is the ideal place to come in summer for picnicking, with the size of the park making it always possible to find a secluded spot.
In winter, the park is practically deserted, and eerily romantic under a fresh fall of snow.
