A short hike up the mountains with a nice view along the way (30-45 minutes). Bang Pu beach is the starting point. You will reach Laem Sala beach after passing the 1st hill. The hike, especially if you're not physically fit, was about 430 m and quite tiring. Note that the hike has "steps" that are just rocks and stuff, so on your way up it's easy to injure your ankles. It's probably about 1 hour to get up. The steps will be much better and easier to walk around once you enter the cave. Probably good for the hike to have a walking stick. On the way there's a lookout point to Thailand's gulf. That's about halfway through the hike. The sun shines directly at the "throne" when entering the cave would be perfect photo when the rays come in from the top and hit the area of the "throne." Best to capture the moment with a good camera. Go early at noon before the very tough lighting. The cave is pretty large and you can roam around to see the Stalagmite and enjoy the cool temp in the cave. The return trip is going to be about 30 minutes fast. Note that the trail doesn't have a toilet and stuff, settle this before you move up. Go to the restaurant for lunch once you reach the beach. Food is pretty good. Especially after a hike that was tiring. Return to the hut in the nature park and call back to send you back to the beach in Po Bang. You will realize that the effort was worth it once you reach the cave. A must go to Hua Hin for any visitor if they can get bodied!!! It will probably be difficult for small children or parents to climb and carry them.
