We had just gotten our camper and needed a place for a maiden voyage. We had found that Millerton had full rv hook-ups. We arrived a little after the 2 pm check in and there was no camp host on site. We picked out a spot- which is more like a big paved parking lot that you back your rv / camper into. The good thing is that the lot is all paved so no worry about a muddy campsite. Hook ups were easy and each spot has a concrete picnic table and a large concrete fire ring. The concrete ring is very high, making it difficult to get warm around - but it's a good size fire pit with a cooking grill on it. Each campsite has a nice view of the lake and the sunset was beautiful. This is a great place to go In the off season to camp with your camper. The other campers were friendly and according to them we were there on a "busy" weekend - and it wasn't even totally full. Nighttime was super quiet. Overall, I gave it a 4 out of 5 - only because I prefer to camp "in the trees" but that's just me.
