Huanglong Scenic and Historic paradise

Huanglong is a scenic and historic interest area in the northwest part of Sichuan, China. It is located in the southern part of the Minshan mountain range, 370 kilometers (230 mi) north-northwest of the capital Chengdu. This is a high altitude (average 3,500m ) location with mountain ridges and snowy peaks, deep valleys, rivers and waterfalls and ponds, and lakes.O ne could readily imagine a celestial golden dragon wading in water. The views are amazing... the silence is calming and the air is fresh.

I highly recommend you to wear comfortable walking shoes with adequate warm clothing as the temperature constantly changes. Many visitors had to buy oxygen canisters due to breathtaking difficulties caused by high altitude. So make sure you are ready before visiting this place.
