Hike to Wilcox Peak Pass

Wilcox Pass is a real gem. SThis was probably one out of two best hikes we did during our stay in Jasper! The hike starts from the campground's parking lot, around 2-3 km from The Icefield Discovery Centre towards Banff (it will be on your left if driving from Jasper to Banff). Since you start off a relatively high altitude, it doesn't take long for you to get above the treeline and get into the sub-alpine zone. 45 minutes or so will get you to the pair of red Muskoka chairs (which is so Canadian!) and a beautiful view of the nearby glacier, surrounded by mountains on all sides. Further up is the meadow, where you can often see bighorn sheep grazing.
