The roof of one of the largest contemporary art spaces in the heart of Europe has featured a unique architectural intervention inspired by the elegant forms of airships of the early twentieth century. In fact, this is no airship whatsoever. This Zeppelin is full of book-bearing people, rather than lightning-than-air gas. Gulliver Airship is a place for gathering and reading, where people can hug themselves with a book or discuss literature related to the mission of the DOX Museum to encourage critical thinking regarding social issues. At the DOX Center for Contemporary Art in Prague, a 42 m steel and wood structure has become a new permanent venue for confrontations between contemporary art and literature.
