The 10.5-acre Vista Hermosa Park, located at the western gateway to downtown Los Angeles, is an urban natural park developed by the MRCA that boldly returns the serenity and diversity of nature to the urban core of Los Angeles. Vista Hermosa Natural Park is a popular destination for residents of this densely populated neighborhood, operated in collaboration with the Los Angeles Unified School District and the City of Los Angeles.
The park features walking trails, streams, meadows, savannahs of oak, picnic grounds, and a playground surrounded by natural Mediterranean vegetation.
Highlights
* Bench and views make it a great place for photoshoots
* Grass area by the bench is good for picnics
* Park is dog friendly (Dogs must be leashed)
Lowlights
* Parking is limited in the designated lot
* Line for photos at the bench is long
Overall, it is a tree-mendous place to enjoy the beautiful LA weather and watch the sunrise / sunset! The park is well maintained so it is relatively clean for a public place.Editorial credit: / https://www.shutterstock.com/g/mixmotive
