This is a short drive outside of Bend in Terrebone. It's an easy drive with easy hikes, mild hikes, hard hikes, rock climbing, picnicking and relaxing. We saw otters in the river, it's dog friendly and enough parking. We went in December and it was pretty icy so make sure to have the right gear. We didn't and we were fine, but it was a bit scary. Head down from the parking lot and you will see the bridge to cross the river to get to misery ridge. You can always go left and there is rock climbing and a easy hike towards the river. This hike is strenuous but it isn't long at all. It is worth it. The views, the fresh air and the moment of feeling free is awesome. Misery ridge is called that for a reason. If you are doing it in the summer, bring water, in the winter a steady foot.
