South of Bohemia, is the most beautiful region in the Czech Republic. Specifically, the triangle of the three castles of Trebon, Jindrichuv Hradec, and Cervena Lhota. All of these castles sprawl in the state protected area of Trebonsko, which is famous mainly for the large fishing ponds built in the 14th century. Except for the castle of Cervena Lhota, which stands alone on the edge of the village.
When you visit the Cervena, you can take a walk around the pond, with beautiful sights, not recommended for less mobile people, because the path is going partly through the forest. There is a boat rental as well, but be careful about the water — every waste plumbing from houses around lead to the lake. There are restaurants and hotels around, so its worth to stay overnight and walk around a bit. Inside and outside of the castle is repaired and in excellent condition. There is a guided walk inside the castle every hour.
