t was the one rainy day we had in Portland, which was actually totally fine as it was still super warm! Plus the overhanging trees provided some pretty good cover. The trail was consistently pretty busy, but not overwhelmingly so, and we had plenty of sections where it was just us and we could appreciate the quiet beauty of the woods. Nice moderate hike with plenty of water flowing right now. Plenty of traffic but not overwhelming for a city limits kind of hike. Don't let the crowds deter you as we found plenty of time on our own and the scenery is worth it. Great view of the city with Mt. Hood as a backdrop from the Mansion. A few downed trees and mudslides but easily navigated.
